Makeup brush quote comparison

Compare one configuration, quantity, currency and cost boundary at a time. Keep the original quotations and itemized charges with this working record.

Fill required cost fields explicitly, including confirmed zero amounts. A blank is pending. This worksheet does not assess sample quality or choose a supplier.

1. Shared comparison brief

Subtotal = Q × (P + A) + F + E − C
Planned spend per ordered unit = subtotal ÷ Q

A project subtotal may include sampling already paid. It is not the balance still payable. Record deposits and other payments against their invoices in the payment notes. Editing the shared brief clears both confirmations; editing one quote clears its confirmation.

2. Supplier quote records

Complete the records before comparing totals.

Recurring unit lines exclude order-level charges and excess-component commitments. They are not a repeat-order forecast. Planning totals display two decimal places; retain quotation precision and agreed invoice rounding.

3. Keep each cost in the right place

FieldEntry rule
A · Extra per unitEnter required work excluded from P. If packing is included in P, record that and enter 0 rather than adding it again.
F · Order-level chargesSum the additional charges in this scope once. Keep the itemized sample, setup, tooling, inspection or other lines in the record.
E · Excess purchasesEnter only the required extra component purchase beyond quantities already counted. Record ownership, storage, remaining stock and artwork version.
C · CreditsEnter only confirmed credits for costs captured here, not conditional refunds or discounts already included in the price.
DepositA payment toward an included invoice is part of the payment schedule. Do not add it on top of the full invoice again.
Unknown / excluded / estimatedKeep required unknown amounts blank and explain them. Name jointly excluded costs in the shared boundary. Identify estimates and their dates.

4. Review and approval
